Are you there?

Postby emzdawg on Sun Mar 29, 2009 12:54 pm

Hello fellow earthlings. It has come to my attention that aliens have brainwashed those who regulary post comments on the mighty CE forum. Thankfully they have not yet attacked myself. But there are many for whom it is too late (sniff). I CALL UPON THOSE OUT THERE WHO ARE STILL ABLE TO POST ON THIS FORUM!
Come on guys. This place is flippin' dead. It dosn't do justice to what CE is actually like and the banterous times it provides.
If you are reading this message, and have not yet been numbed by the aliens, then post a comment saying 'I LIKE DRAINS.'

Maybe it's time for a rethink of the whole forum thing?
Forums are so last millenium, everything is so instant now.
If we're not Twittering, we're Facebooking, Beboing or MSNing.
It's all fast food convenience on the net these days...
No one has time to post long drawn out messages like this one anymore!
I find it sad that that's how it is... but gone are the days...

MARK BAXTER I feel your pain, most attendees dont even realise the legacy CE is leaving. Lets face it, it was like that for a generation, the new has come, the old has passed away...

You mean these:
http://twitter.com/edenderryce
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2259467049
http://www.bebo.com/Profile.jsp?MemberId=1607987558

Forums, I think, still have a purpose. They work well when they focus on particular topics. In this case, our faith. It's not easy to do that on bebo, facebook etc.

Oh, hi by the way. Was quite surprised to see a wee discussion going here. It has been a while. Are you all ok?
