OMS in Mexico
Most of Mexico's population is nominally affiliated to the Catholic church, but traditional spiritual religions are widely practiced. The evangelical population of Mexico is less than 5% and many Christians still suffer persecution for their faith. The church is growing, however, and there is much to praise God for.
OMS started working in Mexico in 1990. Its ministries include:
- Evangelical teams
- Establishing self-supporting churches
- Local Bible centers to train local leaders and lay workers
- A Seminary to train church planters and pastors
- An international Christian school.
