RSS, according to some people stands for Really Simple Syndication. Basically it allows you to see updates on the website without having to visit the page.
You can receive RSS in one of two ways:
These are little applications you can run on your computer that show the updated feeds from the website. Most are free.
Browsers such as Firefox, Safari and Opera detect pages with RSS feeds. You will see a little icon on the address bar which when clicked sets up the feed on the browser for you, or shows you how.
